Origin

Started in 2021. Four kids to 5.0+. Two to the pro tour.

The Boydstons moved from Austin to Provo in 2021 after COVID. Everyone in town played pickleball, so the family picked it up too. Nobody had touched a paddle before.

Liz played softball at BYU. Clayton and Ella were serious soccer players. The athletic engine was there. What was missing was the sport.

As the kids advanced, the drilling got structured. The coaching got serious. Within four years, all four Boydston kids hit 5.0+, Clayton and Ella played together at Utah Tech and both earned College All-American honors, and the team finished #2 in the nation. Ella competes on the PPA and APP pro tours today. Clayton brought what he learned on tour back home in 2026 to coach full-time.

The Boydstons

A mother and her pro son, coaching side by side.

Two coaches, two angles. Liz reads what your game needs and structures the path forward. Clayton brings the pro-tour eye for what wins points at the top of the game. Book whichever fits, or let us match you.

Pickleball Coach Liz Boydston playing

Coach Liz Boydston · Mom & founder

The coach who raised four 5.0+ players at home.

Liz is the builder. She sees what is leaking points in your game, names it in plain language, and gives you the specific drills that fix it. Her edge is long-term player development: connecting one lesson to the next so the work actually compounds. It is how she took four kids from zero to 5.0+, and two of them to the pro tour.

Pickleball Coach Clayton Boydston

Coach Clayton Boydston · Liz’s son

The pro son. All-American. Coached by his mom first.

Clayton competed and won on the PPA and APP tours, then stepped back in 2026 to coach full-time. He still trains at the level he played at, so the patterns and habits he drills with you are the ones winning at the top of the game today. His coaching is analytical and direct: spot the leak, drill the fix, prove it against live pressure.

What changes

Your game starts winning points it used to lose.

Better pickleball is not a prettier swing. It is better court position, better partner communication, and knowing when to reset and when to attack. That is what we coach.

Cleaner mechanics under pressure
Better shot selection in transition
More patient kitchen play
Stronger partner movement
Intentional resets and attacks
A practice plan you can repeat

How we coach

“We don’t teach drills. We teach decisions.”

Most lessons fix mechanics and call it a day. We fix what is actually losing you points: where you stand, what shot you choose, when to reset, when to attack. The mechanics support the decision, not the other way around. Every drill in your lesson exists because it solves a specific problem in your game.
